Friends, family, and loved ones gathered to honor Steve.
Not one to be on the sidelines for even a moment, Steve has lived life "on the court" and gloriously out loud, and always generously including his 'ohana in his myriad adventures. Nearly 100 friends from around the globe—some possessing more than half of a century of blackmail material (you know who you are)—celebrated Steve's birthday in grand style befitting of his first sixty larger-than-life years.
It was an awesome tribute to Steve, who—convinced nobody would show up—was profoundly touched and deeply humbled by the outpouring of love. Here's to the next 60!
